Thanks Tilly! It's been a lot of fun to show people my bag and tell them it used to be a pair of pants!
That is a great use of a pair of pants. The colors are beautiful.
I buy those old wide leg pants at the thrift store and make long skirts from them. I wonder if this would be hard to sew up in canvas? I sure could use a bag like this when we have to run from hurricanes. I have a lot of stuff I don't want to put in the suitcase.
